What first inspired you to pursue a career in beauty, and how did you get started in the industry?

"I come from a family of artists — painters, shoemakers, seamstresses, and most importantly, cosmetologists. My mom was the one who really encouraged me to pursue beauty as a career. She always told me, “You never know where life will take you or where you’ll end up living, but an artist never starves. You can take your skill anywhere.” She was absolutely right.
Growing up, I was surrounded by creativity on both my mom’s and dad’s side, and that environment shaped me. I got my start in my aunt’s salon, first as an assistant and eventually becoming one of the most requested artists there. At the same time, I continued pursuing my education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In many ways, I feel like I’ve gotten the best of both worlds (artistry and business) and that combination has really shaped my journey in beauty."

What does beauty mean to you on a personal level?

"To me, beauty is about living life through authentic self-expression. That requires getting in touch with every aspect of ourselves and, most importantly, choosing to move with love rather than fear.I believe beauty is truly a state of mind, it's an energy. When we embody our true essence, align with what speaks to us, and live in a way that feels authentic, our aura becomes magnetic. That energy, that light we give off when we’re living as our fullest selves, is what I find most beautiful."

What inspires your creativity when it comes to makeup and content creation?

"My creativity comes from tapping into what truly speaks to me, by letting go of overthinking and just creating. I love being in that state of flow where I can pour my energy into the moment of what energetically speaks to me.I draw a lot of inspiration from music and film scores, which set a mood and spark emotion, as well as from fashion—textures, colors, and prints always spark new ideas. Travel also plays a huge role for me; different cultures, backgrounds, and locations constantly expand the way I see and express beauty. All of these influences come together and fuel my love for storytelling, creating, and sharing through makeup and content creation."

Do you have go-to Bodyography products you can’t live without, and why?

"I can’t live without the Glitter Pigments! They feel so nostalgic to me. When I first started doing makeup over 11 years ago, pigments were the thing. I love how versatile and easy to use they are, whether you’re going for something bold or just a touch of sparkle.I’m also a huge fan of liquid eyeshadows. They’re effortless, beginner-friendly, and work for beauty lovers at every level, which makes them such a staple in any kit. And of course, I can’t forget lip liner, it’s absolutely essential for every look I create."

What’s the best beauty tip or lesson you’ve learned from your mom, grandma, or another important woman in your life?

Pinch your cheeks to give yourself a flush and NEVER leave the house without lip liner.

What’s your biggest beauty blunder — and what did you learn from it?

Back in high school, I used to fill in my eyebrows with my mom’s lip liner. Eyebrow pencils weren’t as common back then (or maybe I was just too young to know better), but I was convinced I needed to shape and define my brows. So, I worked with what I had, a dark mahogany brown lip liner. Definitely not the right formula, and certainly not the right color, but I had the right vision! Looking back, it taught me that beauty is all about creativity and resourcefulness. Even when the tools weren’t perfect, the passion was always there.

What’s one trend you’ve never tried but would love to experiment with?

As a professional artist, I’m always looking to expand my knowledge and skill set. While I’m best known for glamour and event-based makeup, I’d love to explore more editorial looks. For me, it’s less about chasing a trend and more about pushing boundaries.
