Our Sparkle

Use the flat side of the pencil to shape the brow and the pointed tip to define the edges creating feathery hair strokes. Soften the brow with the attached brush.

Pro Tip

Use the pointed edge to trace along the bottom of the brow, pull up from that line with the flat edge and fill in the brows, perfect the top of the brow again with the pointed edge and soften the entire brow with the attached bristled brush.

Which Brow Assist shade should I choose?

Two shades cover the range: Taupe for ash blonde through light brown hair, and Brown for medium to dark brown hair. Match to the roots of your brow rather than the tips, which sun-lighten. If you're gray or silver, Taupe is the softer and more believable of the two.

How does the triangular tip work?

The retractable triangular tip is three tools in one — the fine point draws individual hair-like strokes, the flat side fills a section in a single pass, and the edge cleans up the underside of the brow. It's shaped to mimic real brow hairs rather than draw a solid block of color.

Do I need to sharpen Brow Assist?

No — the retractable design means no sharpening and no waste. Twist up only a millimeter or two at a time; extending too far can snap the tip. The triangular shape holds its own edge as you use it, so the point stays precise through the whole life of the pencil.

How do I use the spoolie end?

Brush through with the spoolie before you fill, so you can see where the gaps genuinely are, and again afterward to soften the strokes and blend the mineral pigment into your own hair. That second pass is what stops a filled brow reading drawn-on, and it grooms the hairs upward for fullness.

Will Brow Assist look natural on sparse or over-plucked brows?

Yes — light, feathered strokes with the fine tip read as individual hairs rather than a filled-in shape. Start at the tail, usually the sparsest area, and work back toward the head where your own hair grows densest. Castor seed oil in the formula helps nourish the brow hairs as you wear it.

Is Bodyography cruelty-free and vegan?

Yes — Bodyography is 100% cruelty-free and has been for over 27 years. The majority of our products are also vegan; a few contain beeswax or other animal-derived ingredients (all cruelty-free). Check individual product pages for confirmed vegan status. Cruelty-free is a non-negotiable across the brand. Certified by PETA and LEAPING BUNNY.

Where is Bodyography made, and are ingredients ethically sourced?

Bodyography is a family-owned professional cosmetics brand, headquartered in California and manufactured primarily in the United States, along with partners in S. Korea, France, Spain, Taiwan, China and Italy. We source ingredients responsibly and formulate to our own clean-beauty standards rather than to a universal checklist. What we include is just as intentional as what we leave out.

What's Bodyography's return policy on opened makeup?

We offer returns on unused products within 30 days of purchase. Because of hygiene standards, we generally cannot accept returns on opened cosmetics unless the product is defective. If your product arrived damaged or you have a formulation concern, please reach out to our customer service team — we take every message seriously and want to make it right.

How can I get a free professional shade match?

We offer free shade matching for foundation, concealer, tinted moisturizer, and more. Email us with a clear, natural-light photo of your face and neck (no makeup, no filter), and one of our team members — many of whom are working makeup artists — will match you personally. It's one of the most-used services we offer.
