Sharpen to a point with the built-in sharpener and draw along the lash line for liner; swipe it flat across the lid and blend with a fingertip within a few seconds for an all-over metallic wash. The creamy texture stays workable just long enough to blend, then sets down long-wear.
Which Shadow Stylist Crayon shade is most wearable day to day?
Aglow (champagne) and Coin (rose gold) are the everyday pair — soft metallics that brighten the eye without becoming the whole look. Slate (pewter) and Copper are the step up. Cobalt, Orchid, Moss and Blush are the color-forward shades for when you want the eye to be the point.
Will Shadow Stylist Crayon crease on oily lids?
The formula is long-wear and resists creasing on its own. If your lids run oily, or you're wearing it twelve hours, lay down Canvas Eye Mousse first and press a matching Expression Eye Shadow over the top to set it. That combination holds through heat and long days.
Can I layer Glitter Pigments over the crayon?
Yes — the crayon makes an ideal base for Glitter Pigments, giving the sparkle a tacky, colored bed to grab onto so it stays exactly where you press it. Swipe the crayon, then press glitter over the top with a fingertip. Coin under Sparkler is a beautiful rose-gold combination.
Does it need sharpening, and how do I keep the tip clean?
There's a built-in sharpener in the cap, so you never need a separate tool. Sharpen lightly and only when the tip goes blunt — over-sharpening wastes a creamy formula. Wipe the tip on a tissue before capping to keep the color true and the pencil hygienic between uses.
