How do I apply Glitter Pigments for beginners in two steps?
Easiest option: Wash of color on the lids — simply swipe on color across the lid and blend out the edges. Halo Eye: apply a matte shadow (we love a bronzer) all over the lid, then take a bright Glitter Pigment and apply it in the center of the lid — like a spot light or halo of light.
Do I need an eyeshadow primer with Bodyography shadows?
For everyday wear, no. Glitter Pigments are highly pigmented and long-lasting on their own — they have a primer built in. For extra-long lasting wear we like to layer them on top of Shadow Stylist Crayons.
Are Bodyography Glitter Pigments safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers?
Yes, Glitter Pigments are formulated without traditional pressing agents (that's the "glue-free" difference) and are safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. The clean formulation means less irritation and no residue transferring into your eyes throughout the day. The formula is plastic-free and contains no 'glitter' that would irritate the eyes.
Are the pigments glue-free — and what does that mean for wear time?
Yes, Glitter Pigments are pressed without glue — a technique that lets us pack more pure pigment into every shade. It means richer color payoff, cleaner ingredient list, and no compromise on wear time. The shadows still last all day when applied properly, and the color intensity actually intensifies when you use them wet.
Can I use them wet for a foiled look?
Yes — this is our favorite trick. Dampen a flat shader brush with water or a setting spray, press it into the pigment, and pat onto the lid. The color transforms into a bold, metallic foil finish with even more intensity than dry application. Perfect for evening looks, editorial makeup, or when you want the shade to really pop.
