How To Apply Glitter Eyeshadow Without Fallout

It's safe to say we are big glitter fans over here at Bodyography! That being said, we also love flawless skin, skin not covered in glitter fallout! Lucky for you, our Glitter Pigments were formulated with a primer infused so that you get maximum glitter impact with little to no fallout - however, we're human, and a rogue glitter is bound to fall... here is how to prevent that!

Step #1: Prime

Just like we prime our face, it is essential to prime our lids! Eye Primer will keep your eyeshadow, glitter or traditional, in place all day and also bring out the authentic tones of your shadow. Our Canvas Eye Mousse is a fantastic eye primer. Not only will it do all the above, but due to anti-aging ingredients and a light color tone, this formula will plump the eye area (bye-bye fine lines) and conceal discoloration or veins that peep through makeup!

Apply this primer all over the lid from lash line to brow bone with a flat brush or your finger before applying any eyeshadow.

Step #2: Prep & Application

When you are ready to start applying your Glitter Pigments or your eyeshadow, it's best to use a Flat Shader Brush or Tapered Blending Brush to saturate the color product onto the lids, be sure to tap the excess product off the brush or onto your hand before applying it to the lids and use a tapping or patting motion to press color onto the lids. To make your color even more intense and to stop fall out from loose pigments, spray your brush with Ready Set Go Setting Spray First.

Step #3: Clean Up

Some people choose to apply their eyeshadow before foundation. If so - clean up of fall out is easy. Just wipe away clean with Cleansing & Soothing Makeup Wipes! If you prefer to apply complexion first, a good way to ensure fall out doesn't ruin your makeup is to pat a dense layer of loose powder under the eye area to catch the fall out pigment! Blur, Set, Perfect Loose Setting Powder is perfect for this as it is colorless and won't affect your makeup! Just brush away the powder once you have completed your eye look, and voila, a clean complexion.

If all else fails, there is always the tried and true glitter removal method: tape. Take a piece of tape and pick up the fall out on your skin. It works like a charm every time!
