Don’t worry, a few simple steps can keep your skin looking and feeling fresh amid the dropping temperatures and the dry indoor heat the chilly months bring. Luckily, we still have time to get serious about hydration and promise these few simple steps will keep your skin glowing, plump and hydrated, even after sipping on New Year’s Eve bubbles!
Step #1: Set the Vibe
During the Winter months we experience dropping temperatures, snow, cold winds, and dry indoor heat - not the best for our precious skin! Aside from skincare (which we will talk about later) it’s important to set your home and body up for success, to stay hydrated. This means extra water, both in and around your body!
Make sure to stay EXTRA hydrated as whatever you put into your body will be reflected on the outside (good or bad!), we all drink and eat a little more than usual during the holidays, so a little boost of H2O intake won’t hurt us! If you live in a dry or cold environment, we also recommend a humidifier, something small and cheap (thanks Amazon) does wonders.
Our creative director, Lori Leib keeps one next to her bed and in her office, after spending a couple years in New York she adopted this habit, and her skin has thanked her! Like we mentioned before, you are what you eat...so when you are not treating yourself with holiday goodies and drinks, be mindful about what you’re putting in your body! Bring on the leafy greens!
Step #2: Say Buh-Bye to Dead Skin
